there are known issues with security certificates in versions of Netscape
4.05 and below. (See FAQ #5 for more information.).

- It says I logged on successfully, but it takes me back to
the sign-on screen every time I hit continue. What's wrong?
This problem occurs when your browser is not configured to accept "Cookies".
Put simply, a "cookie" is a small piece of information about your
identity. You will not be able to logon successfully unless "cookies" are
enabled.
The process for allowing cookies varies from one browser type to another.
To determine the process of enabling cookies for your browser, you can
usually find detailed instructions by choosing the "Help" menu item and
looking for the term "Cookie". For your convenience, we have shown some
sample configuration settings for Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator
in the images below.

- When I attempt to register as a new user
or sign-on as an existing user, I get an error that says
"... one of the Certificate Authorities that identifies this site has expired."
Is this site secure? What should I do to resolve this error?
Netscape Communicator version 4.05 or earlier, Microsoft Internet
Explore 4.01 for Macintosh and Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.5 for
MacIntosh report an error when attempting to establish a secure
connection after December 31, 1999.
NOTE: This error is a warning message only and does not
prevent a secure connection from being established. If you
choose to continue, the information you supply will be protected.
A sample error screen is shown below.
Users of Netscape Communicator 4.06 and later and all versions
of Internet Explorer other than 4.01 for Macintosh and 4.5 for Macintosh
are not affected by this issue.
To prevent this warning message from occuring, you will need to
upgrade your browser to a version that does not experience this
issue. Links are provided below to locations where you can download
the lastest versions of two leading browsers, Netscape Communicator
and Microsoft's Internet Explorer.
